How to Use Aloe Vera for Burns?

Ingredients:

  • Aloe Vera gel

Procedure:

  • Pluck a meaty leaf from the plant.
  • Cut open the meaty leaf of the plant and wash it.
  • Squeeze the gel out of the plant.
  • Collect the gel extract and spread it evenly on the area of the burns.

How it works: It helps in providing instant relief to pain and inflammation caused due to burns and speeds the healing process.

  • The Aloe Vera gel and pure lavender oil (1-2 drops) are mixed together in palm and rubbed together.
  • Apply this mixture gently on the burnt skin.

4. Aloe Vera and Vitamin E for Burns:

Aloe Vera gel can also be combined with Vitamin E capsules as a home remedy for burns.

Ingredients:

  • Aloe Vera gel
  • Vitamin E capsules

Procedure:

  • The Vitamin E capsules are squeezed out in a small bowl.
  • The Aloe Vera gel is mixed to the mixture in the bowl.
  • Mix them well and apply on the burns area.

How it works: Vitamin E is rich in antioxidants and hence reduces the free radicals formed on the damaged skin. The Aloe Vera gel has antibacterial property and helps in speeding up the healing process.

Repetitions: Twice daily.
