  • Raise your legs and bend the knees.

  • Support your back with both your hands.

  • Bend your knees and hold them close to your chest.
  • Raise your legs up and hold them straight against the wall.
  • Adjust your hips such that your buttocks touch the wall.

How to Do:

  • Lie down in a supine position.
  • Raise your legs and bend the knees.
  • Bring the knees close to your stomach or chest.
  • Grab your knees with both hands and press them against your torso.
  • Raise your head and try to touch the knees with your nose or chin.

Number of Repetitions: The pose can be practiced 2 times a day and hold the position for 5 to 10 seconds.

6. Ardha Matsyendrasana

  • Sit on a floor mat with your legs stretched out.
  • Bring your feet close to each other.
  • Keep your palms on the floor on either side of your hip.
  • Lift your left foot and place it on the other side of your right knee.
  • Swing your right leg by bending the knees, and bring the right foot close to your buttocks.
  • Hold the big toe of your right foot with your right hand.
  • The right elbow should be placed along the outer side of your left knee.
  • Place the palm of your left hand on the floor behind your hips.
  • Turn your head and look behind your left shoulder.

Number of Repetitions:

You can perform this asana 2 to 3 times and hold the position for 20 seconds.
